Room 9- Year 1
The children in Room 9 have been busy learning about different genres in writing. They listened to many different narratives and were given an opportunity to have a go at writing their own Fairy-tale. We discovered that we have lots of creative little minds in our room! We are currently learning about sharing our own opinions through writing. The children can brainstorm their ideas, pick three best reasons on a topic and then attempt to persuade a reader to agree with them. Some children have been very persuasive!
